Banglalink, Teletalk sign MoU for infrastructure sharing

Banglalink and Teletalk have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities of sharing their respective telecom infrastructures. 

The MoU was signed by Erik Aas, Chief Executive Officer, Banglalink and Md. Shahab Uddin, Managing Director, Teletalk in the presence of Mustafa Jabbar, Honorable Minister, Posts and Telecommunications Division at an MoU signing ceremony held at Posts and Telecommunications Division.

Also present at the signing ceremony were Md. Khalilur Rahman, Secretary, Posts and Telecommunications Division, Taimur Rahman, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink,WahedUlHuqKhandkar, Head of Government and LEA Relations, Banglalink and other top management members of both organizations.

Under the MoU, the two operators will explore and assess scopes and technical feasibility of sharing their respective telecom infrastructures and facilities with each other in compliance with the Infrastructure Sharing Guidelines, Tower Sharing Guidelinesand all other relevant laws and regulations.

Banglalink will continue to take initiatives to facilitate the growth of the telecom industry.
