Bengal Commercial Bank signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank for Green Transformation Fund (GTF) under refinance scheme of Tk. 50.0 billion to accelerate the sustainable growth of export and manufacturing oriented industries as well as aiming to establish Green Economy. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank and Chowdhury Liakat Ali, Director of Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Tuesday, 13 June 2023 at the Head Office of Bangladesh Bank. Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Head of Credit Risk Management of Bengal Commercial Bank and Jitendra Kairy, Assistant Vice President of the Bank were also present at the signing ceremony.
