Bengal Commercial Bank & SME Foundation signed an agreement for facilitating fresh loan to the Corona affected entrepreneurs from the Cottage, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (CMSME) under the stimulus package declared by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said a press release on Wednesday.
Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank and Dr. Md. Mafizur Rahman, Managing Director of SME Foundation signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Monday at the Bank’s head office at Gulshan in the caital.
SME foundation has allocated a good number of amount from the stimulus package for Bengal Commercial Bank under the ‘Credit Wholesaling Program’ for disbursement and 4 percent interest rate will be applicable for the loan.
