The 38th annual general meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) was held at its complex at Uttara inDhaka on Saturday (December 11).
BGMEA President Faruque Hassan Presided over the meeting.
BGMEA Vice President ShahidullahAzim, Vice President (Finance) KhandokerRafiqul Islam, Vice President Md. Nasir Uddin, and Vice President RakibulAlam Chowdhury were present at the AGM. Directors and general members of the association also attended the general meeting.
Addressing the BGMEA members, President of the organization Faruque Hassan said, the achievements of the RMG industry are built on years of hard works and commitment of entrepreneurs and workers.
“On behalf of Board of Directors, I would like to convey sincere gratitude to you all for having the confidence on us and giving us the scope to serve the industry. We are determined to taking the apparel industry of Bangladesh to a new height.”, he pointed out. ,
“The new Board of BGMEA is committed to facing challenges and making all-out efforts to explore every possible avenue for the RMG industry”, he said further.
