BGMEA President Faruque Hassan has said, being one of the poorest nations to become one of the fastest rising economies over the last 50 years, Bangladesh has huge potential of growth in the days ahead.
“Now is the time for the countrymen to remain further united infused with patriotic zeal to take the country to newer elevations of glory,” he said adding that “We have to end our differences for the sake of national unity to build ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”
The BGMEA President made the remarks during his visit to Choto Balia Jame Moque at Sadar Upazila in Thakurgaon on Saturday (December 25).
During the visit, he handed over a cheque of Tk. 10 lac to the mosque as donation. Afterwards, he distributed 500 pieces of blankets among the local poor people.
Director of Giant Group Sharmeen Hassan Tithi was also present on the occasion.
