Bangladesh Motorcycle Assemblers and Manufacturers Association (BMAMA) has conducted a ‘safe riding’ campaign for bikers ahead of Eid holidays, a press release said Thursday.
The trade body held the awareness activations titled ‘follow traffic rules, return home safely’ at four exit points (Gabtoli, Abdullahpur, Babubazar and Kutubkhali) in Dhaka on Thursday, said a press release.
The campaigners distributed awareness leaflets, stickers and key rings among the bikers.
Road Transport and Highways Division secretary ABM Amin Ullah Nuri inaugurated the campaign at Babubazar point as chief guest.
Addressing the programme, Amin Ullah Nuri appreciated the campaign of BMAMA to inspire bikers to maintain safe riding during Eid holidays.
He urged the BMAMA leaders to continue such activities in future to ensure the safety of motorcycle customers.
