As a cold spell is sweeping across the country, BRAC Bank has come forward to help cold-impacted communities, providing individuals with warm blankets. As part of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the bank has distributed 30,000 blankets among the underprivileged people of 21 districts covering Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions of the country. Meheriar M. Hasan, Chairperson of BRAC Bank, joined one of the blanket distribution ceremonies at Kamrangirchar in Dhaka on January 16. Md. Sabbir Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & COO, and senior officials were also present.
