BRAC Bank has completed a three-day eye-screening initiative for its non-executive co-workers at its head office, making eye care accessible to them, a press release said Friday. The one-of-a-kind initiative in the corporate sector bears testimony to the bank’s unwavering commitment to nurturing a culture of inclusiveness at the workplace. This is part of the bank’s flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative dedicated to health and styled ‘Aporajeyo Ami’. The initiative uncovered a significant need for vision care, with 49% of the screened co-workers requiring corrective eyeglasses – including chauffeurs, security personnel, office assistants, and cleaning assistants.
