BRAC Bank has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Merchant Marine Officers’ Association (BMMOA) recently, a press release said Sunday.
Under the agreement, the bank will provide exclusive banking services to 11,000 marine engineers and officers of the association. This is the only registered association for seafaring officers in Bangladesh.
Capt. Golam Mohiuddin Quadrey, Vice President of BMMOA and A.K.M. Tareq, Regional Head, Regional Head, Dhaka Central and Rajshahi Region of BRAC Bank, signed the agreement at the bank’s Gulshan Branch on May 22, 2022.
Md. Ali Hosain, Treasurer of BMMOA, Ali Talukder, Head of Branch Governance & Regional Head, Abu Taher Mridha, Head of Payments & Transactions, and Md. Arifuzzaman, Area Head, Gulshan Branch, BRAC Bank, were also present.
