BRAC Bank and SME Foundation jointly organized a capacity-building program, named ‘Amrai TARA’ in Sylhet, to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of women-led small and medium enterprises (WSMEs). Held from 17 to 19 September, 2024, the ‘Business Management and Financial Literacy Training’ under BRAC Bank ‘Amrai TARA’ was attended by 23 promising WSMEs. The initiative focused on identifying women entrepreneurs’ challenges, providing practical solutions, and guiding them in establishing effective marketing channels and financial readiness for their businesses. Supported by the Gates Foundation, the program emphasized advancing women’s entrepreneurship and financial inclusion in the region.
