BRAC Bank has won ‘Gold Award’ at the 8th Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence in General Banking Category.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi formally handed over the award to BRAC Bank’s Deputy Managing Director and CFO M Masud Rana at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel on December 12.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam and ICSB President Muzaffar Ahmed were present, said a press release.
The ICSB Award is conferred to the organizations in recognition to best corporate governance practices.
On winning the award, BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Selim RF Hussain said that at BRAC Bank, governance, compliance, ethics and transparency are the cornerstones of their business model.
