Chayon Rahman has won “Disaster Management Bureau Award 2011”. This award was supported by CDMP & Action Aid. By a ceremony Disaster Management Bureau has given the award to Chayon Rahman. There are many disaster-prone coastal areas in Bangladesh. Specially the people of coastal areas are mainly live in Coxbazar, Kuakata, Hatia, Kutubdia. People of that are surviving to fight against natural disaster. The report was conducted to create awareness and response to disaster situations in Bangladesh.
In response after getting the award Chayon Rahman told the reporter, “I am trying to contribute the create awareness of people. I believe this report will help them a lot.”
