CSERF honors 6 frontline women doctors’ for their role during Covid-19

The Center of Social and Environmental Research Foundation (CSARF) honored six of these struggling female physicians with the “Winner Award-2022” for their tireless work in a program held Sunday.

The awards were distributed at an event organized at the Avenue Garden Convention center, Mirpur in the capital.

Dr. Umme Salma JahanMeena, Chief of Party of ‘Mamony Project’ of Save the Children program. The Program was presided over by Sabina Siddique, CSERF Executive Director while Hafiz Ahmed, Executive Member of CSERF was present as the Special Guest. 

The Award winners are Dr. Laksmi Rani Biswas, Bangladesh HomeopathicMedical College and Hospital, Dr. SaminaArif, Associate Professor, Vice Principal, Federal Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Nusrat Saba, Shamorita Medical College & Hospital, Dr. Bonita Sham Pria, Medical Officer ( Cardiology), National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Center,GaliaNurul Sharif, Residential Medical Officer,Ajgar Ali Hospital and Dr. UmmeHumairaKaneta, Medical Officer, Mugda Medical College and General Hospital. 

While addressing as the chief guest Dr. Umme Salma Jahan Meena said, “We are organizing this small event today to pay homage to these great people around us.” We can’t bring all the doctors here. We have invited very few eminent physicians here and we are awarding this “Winner’s Award-2022” in recognition of their tireless sacrifice and hard work.

Let this small effort of ours take on a larger size at a time when people from all walks of life come forward with a sense of social responsibility in the service of the people as well as in the recognition of the service provider. Today we have that desire.
