Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has celebrated International Women’s Day at its head office in the city, a press release said Friday. This year International Women’s Day theme was ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’. Successful women leaders in various areas are invited by EBL to honour them inspire own women employees. The bank invited the celebrity women like: Kamrun Nahar Dana, former national Badminton and Table Tanis player; Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, Bangladeshi singer and academic; Rasheda K Chowdhury, educationist and social activist; Selima Ahmed, MP, Bangladeshi businessperson and politician. Ali Reza Iftekhar, MD and CEO of the bank spoke on the occasion.
