Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury, Chairman, Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) handed over a token blanket to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban, press release said Friday. EBL donated blankets to Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help underprivileged people in the upcoming winter season. The donation was made as part of the bank’s CSR program. Managing Director and CEO of EBL Ali Reza Iftekhar was also present on the occasion.
