Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has been recognized in the Sustainability Rating – 2021 by the Bangladesh Bank, a press release said Monday. EBL MD and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar received the crest and certificate from the Governor of Bangladesh Bank Fazle Kabir at a ceremony held at the central bank. Bangladesh Bank has published the rating based on four indicators such as Sustainable Finance, Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), Green Refinance and Core Banking Sustainability.
