Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) held the BAMLCO and DAMLCO Conference 2023, on Saturday, a press release said. EBL organized the conference to enhance knowledge and skill of their employees in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT). Ali Reza Iftekhar, MD and CEO of EBL, inaugurated conference. M.M. Haikal Hashmi, DMD and CAMLCO; M. Khorshed Anowar, DMD and head of retail and SME banking of the bank were also present. EBL resource persons Md. Abdul Awal, EVP and head of monitoring; Md. Syedul Islam, SVP and head of audit; Md. Shahjahan Ali, SVP and deputy CAMLCO; and Naima Kishwar Chowdhury, head of CDD review team shed light on contemporary AML and CFT, issued in the conference.
