Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) as the lead bank hosted a financial literacy and open cheque distribution program at the Royal Palace Convention Hall in Narsingdi on November 12. This event was organised as part of Bangladesh Bank’s Financial Literacy Program. The program was attended by 26 bank managers and representatives, along with 150 invited guests, all joining to support the mission of financial education and responsible banking. Md. Iqbal Mohasin, Director, Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, chief guest on the occasion and shared valuable insights and guidance on financial literacy. M. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking at EBL was the special guest at the event.
