Evercare Hospital Dhaka, has recently completed 1 lakh RT-PCR tests. To honor the frontline workers responsible for carrying out the tests, the hospital authority has organized an event to award the team for their commitment in providing these precious services.
In carrying out COVID-19 tests, health workers are placed at risk of infection by the virus. COVID testing is a crucial service which allows for better public health management during these turbulent times.
Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Sr. Consultant- Molecular Lab said, “Proper COVID testing is necessary in controlling the spread of the virus”.
Dr. Ratnadeep Chaskar, CEO & MD, Evercare Hospital Dhaka said, “Testing for COVID can prove to be hazardous for the one carrying out the procedure, making them a frontline worker. With that, I acknowledge our frontline workers for their continued immeasurable contribution to society.”
Speaking at the event, Dr. Arif Mahmud, Public Health Specialist and Deputy Director of Evercare Hospital Dhaka, said, “It is a great honor for Evercare Hospital to provide such a necessary service. However, without the sincere efforts of our frontline health workers, none of this would be possible”.
