Fevicol Champions’ Club (FCC) has launched an awareness campaign around keeping environment clean to prevent infectious diseases like Dengue and Malaria, a press release said.
Fevicol Champions’ Club (FCC) is an independent association of woodworking artisans supported by Fevicol – the adhesive brand which now a household name in Bangladesh.
The theme of the campaign was “Keep the Environment Clean and Make Living Spaces Safe from Infectious Diseases.” As part of this campaign, FCC conducted dengue eradication and environmental clean-up activities in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur, Mirpur, and Rampura, as well as Gazipur and Narayanganj districts.
Attending this social awareness program were a total of about 300 members from 8 different FCCs. Notable among the various activities undertaken by the FCC members are: Awareness about Aedes mosquito breeding grounds and how to prevent their development; Maintaining environmental cleanliness by eliminating the practice of littering; and creating public awareness through the slogan “Keep the environment clean, stay healthy together.”
