First edition of Nation Branding Dialogue held

Mr. Nasrul hamid, state minister, ministry of power, energy & mineral resources; a2i; brac and bidyanondo recognized at the first edition of nation branding dialogue.

To commemorate the 50 years of Independence of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Brand Forum hosted the first edition of Nation Branding Dialogue. at the Grand Ballroom of Le Meredien Dhaka. The event was attended by policy makers, government officials, global and local industry leaders, CXOs, academicians and many more. The initiative was supported by bKash.

The auspicious Nation Branding Dialogue was graced by Honorable Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Atiqul Islam as special guest.

In the opening speech of the virtual launch event, Founder and Managing Director of Bangladesh Brand Forum conveyed that, “We need to embrace knowledge to convert innovation into growth and that requires global collaboration, cutting edge thinking from all over the world. And with that lens Bangladesh Brand Forum has proudly come up with the global Bangladeshi Professional Diaspora Forum.”

The most exuberant part of the event was special Recognitions handed over to individuals and organizations for their invaluable contribution. To provide tireless and exemplary support in the development tides of Bangladesh, Mr. Nasrul Hamid, State Minister, Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was recognized with the Brand Bangladesh Award for Power Sector.  for Best Covid Response organizations. Under this category a2i – Aspire to Innovate, BRAC and Bidyanondo Foundation received special recognition for their impeccable and continuous support to the country during the global pandemic.

The Nation Branding Dialogue had three Keynote Session conducted by Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar, Professor & Immediate Past Director, IBA – University of Dhaka, Chief Advisor, Bangladesh Brand Forum, Second Vice President, Asia Marketing Federation; Anir Chowdhury, Policy Advisor, a2i- Aspire to Innovate.

 Mr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh and Managing Director Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority, Additional Secretary, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi Professional Diaspora Forum’s launch event presented the activity plans of the UK, USA, Australia and Canada chapters.

The first edition of Nation Branding Dialogue was supported by bKash and an initiative of Bangladesh Brand Forum.
