Online food and grocery delivery service foodpanda will continue to deliver food and groceries to households across the country during the weeklong lockdown starting from July 1, 2021, said a press release on Thursday.
Foodpanda has taken all necessary preparations to deliver goods to customers maintaining health and safety protocols in line the guidelines announced by the government.
The release read, to help consumers get food, groceries and other daily essential items delivered to their doorstep within the shortest possible time amidst the shutdown, foodpanda’s services including online food delivery, pandamart grocery service, and grocery and other essentials deliveru from foodpanda shops will continue to be available.
In addition to ensuring that riders sanitize their hands frequently and wear masks, there is a contactless delivery option for customers to avoid interaction with the rider when advanced payment is made digitally, the release read.
