First Security Islami Bank Ltd. (FSIBL) has been awarded for being one of the highest taxpayers in banking sector for 2021-22 fiscal year by the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) of the National Board of Revenue, a press release said Thursday. Md. Masudur Rahman Shah, DMD of the bank received the award of recognition from Rawnak Afroz, commissioner of taxes, Taxes Appeal Zone-2, Dhaka at a ceremony at NBR’s Tax Zone-1 conference hall. A K M Badiul Alam, director general of Central Intelligence Cell (CIC), Md. Iqbal Hossain, commissioner of taxes, Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU), and Muhammad Kamruzzaman, head of finance and accounts deivision, FSIBL were also present.
