First Security Islami Bank Ltd. (FSIBL) has achieved 1st position for collecting the highest bill amongst 34 banks selected by Dhaka WASA to collect bill in the financial year 2021-2022, a press release said Thursday. It is the 4thtime to place 1st position consecutively for the bank in collecting Dhaka WASA bill. A program titled Dhaka WASA Bill Collection Award was held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka on 16 March 2023. Md. Tazul Islam, Minister, Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, handed over the certificate and crest as chief guest, to Syed Waseque Md Ali, MD, FSIBL. Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, comptroller and auditor general of Bangladesh, Muhammad Ibrahim, secretary, local government division, Dr. Engr. Gholam Mostofa, chairman, Dhaka WASA Board, were present as special guest. The program was presided over by Engr. Taqsem A Khan, MD, Dhaka WASA.
