First Security Islami Bank Ltd. (FSIBL) has sponsored the conference ‘Legal Remittance Flow: keeping Bangladesh economy stable’ at a three-day Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair 2022 in New York, a press release said Tuesday. Dr. Atiur Rahman, noted economist and former governor of Bangladesh Bank, attended the conference as the chief guest. Syed Waseque Md. Ali, MD of the bank, delivered speech at the conference key-note speaker. Md. Jasim Uddin, president of FBCCI, and Dr. David Nalin, Co-founder of Bangladesh Information Center Washington DC 1971, attended the event as special guests. Ziauddin Ahmed was present as convener and Bishawjit Saha as CEO of Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair 2022.
