Grameenphone holds 26th AGM

Grameenphone on Tuesday hosted its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually via a digital platform in accordance with the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission’s (BSEC) guidelines to guarantee ongoing and meaningful shareholder engagement and involvement.

During the AGM for 2022, the Board of Directors of Grameenphone Ltd has approved a final dividend in cash at the rate of 95 per cent of the paid-up capital, or Tk 9.5 per share of Tk 10 each, read a press release.

With this cash dividend pay-out, the total cash dividend stands at 220 per cent of the paid-up capital, including the previous -125 per cent interim cash dividend pay-out, amounting to 98.72 per cent of Profit After Tax for the year 2022.
