HSBC Bangladesh Gulshan branch has received the ‘Platinum certification’ under the LEED v4 rating system, a press release said Sunday. According to the issued statement in November 2022, HSBC Gulshan branch has fulfilled the requirements of the LEED Green Building rating system certification established by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by Green Business Certification Inc. LEED Platinum. This is the highest-level recognition for overall sustainability and the branch is the first bank branch in Bangladesh to earn the rating. On the occasion on 4 December 2022, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam graced their presence yet again at the HSBC’s Guslhan branch along with Md Mahbub ur Rahman, CEO of HSBC Bangladesh and Tanmi Haque, head of retail banking form HSBC Bangladesh were also present.
