Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has been awarded as the highest taxpayer in banking sector in 2021-22, a press release said Tuesday. Shaheen Akther, member (tax admin and human resource management) of National Board of Revenue handed over a crest and certificate to Md. Omar Faruk Khan, AMD of IBBL at a ceremony held at the conference hall of Tax Zone, on Tuesday. Md. Khairul Islam, commissioner of Tax Zone-2, Md. Iqbal Hossain, commissioner of large taxpayers unit, Md. Ashraful Haque, executive vice president, and Mosiur Rahman, vice president of IBBL, were also present.
