Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has signed agreement with Chattogram WASA on 14th June in order to start payment of Chattogram WASA water and sewerage bill through its branch, sub-branch and internet banking services, said a press release from the bank on Thursday.
Mohammad Yakub Ali, executive vice president & head of Chattogram south zone of IBBL and Md. Samsul Alam, deputy managing director (finance), Chattogram WASA signed the agreement on behalf of respective organizations.
Md. Shahadat Hossain, head of Chawk Bazar branch, Sohel Aman, head of Chaktai branch & Abdul Naser, head of Anderkilla branch of the bank and Shafiqul Bashar, system analyst & Lutfe Jahan, computer programmer of Chattogram WASA were present on the occasion, the release reads.
