Dhaka WASA has awarded Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited’s (IBBL) Cellfin app for highest bill collection, a press release said Tuesday. Md. Tazul Islam, minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, handed over the award to Md. Omar Faruk Khan, AMD of the bank, at a local hotel in the city recently. Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, comptroller and auditor general of Bangladesh, Muhammad Ibrahim, secretary of local government, Dr. Engr. Gholam Mostofa, chairman of Dhaka WASA board, and Engr. Taqsem A Khan, MD and CEO of Dhaka WASA, were also present.
