Dhaka Central Zone and six corporate branches of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBL) organized a discussion meeting on “Compliance of Shari’ah in Banking Operations” for its clients at Islami Bank Tower recently. Mufti Obaid Ullah Hamzah, Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee addressed the program as chief guest while Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director and CEO of the bank attended as special guest. Presided over by Mizanur Rahman, head of Dhaka Central Zone (Current Charge), Md. Mahbub-a-Alam, head of Head Office Complex Corporate Branch addressed the welcome speech. Md. Shamsuddoha, Executive Vice President of Shari’ah Secretariat addressed on the focal points and Md. Gakir Hossain, head of Local Office Corporate Branch, Dhaka thanked the audience. Executives, officials and prominent clients of Dhaka central Zone and six Corporate Branches also attended the program.
