Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Khulna & Jashore zones organized a webinar on ‘compliance of Shari‘ah in banking operations’ recently on virtual platform, a press release said Monday. Md. Quamrul Hasan, director of the bank addressed the webinar as chief guest while Md. Omar Faruk Khan, AMD, addressed as special guest. Mohammad Harunur Rashid, member of Shari`ah supervisory committee of the bank addressed as key discussant. Md. Shamsuddoha, executive vice president of Shari‘ah secretariat also addressed the program. Presided over by Md. Abdus Salam, head of Khulna zone, Md. Shafiul Azam, head of Jashore zone delivered the welcome speech.
