IBBL signs service deal with BREB

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) have signed an agreement for collecting electricity bills of Palli Bidyut’s customers through online and mobile banking system of the bank, a press release said Thursday. Dipankar Biswas, member of BREB (finance), Joint secretary, Md. Mostafizur Rahman Siddiquee, chief human resources officer, and Md. Hosen Patwary, controller of finance and accounts of BREB, signed the agreement on 6 March 2023 at BREB board room. Mizanur Rahman and Md. Maksudur Rahman, senior executive vice presidents, A.K.M Mahbub Morshed, executive vice president of IBBL, and Md. Masud Parvez, director of financial monitoring department of BREB, Md. Abdul Hye, secretary of BREB, were also present.
