IPDC Finance Limited, in collaboration with The Daily Star, hosted the 7th edition of the ‘Unsung Women Nation Builders Awards’ at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in Dhaka. This event recognized five extraordinary women from across the country for their vital contributions to social change and economic development. This year’s honorees include Mst. Suraya Farhana Resma from Rajshahi, Nacima Akter from Jashore, Titu Paul from Cox’s Bazar, Alpona Rani Mistry from Satkhira, and Hlakrayprue Kheyang from Bandarban. Each of these women has shown remarkable strength, resilience, and dedication to improving their communities and inspiring others. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Ariful Islam, Chairman of IPDC Finance Limited; Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC Finance Limited; Mohammad Iqbal Chowdhury, Director of IPDC Finance Limited; and Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star, among others.
