IPDC Finance has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) to avail its refinance facility for lending to Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CMSMEs), a press release said Thursday. Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Abdur Rouf Talukder; Md. Jaker Hossain, director, SME & Special programmes department of BB and Mominul Islam, MD and CEO of IPDC Finance signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. A total fund of Tk 25,000 crore will be disbursed to CMSMEs for a tenure of up to 5 years at maximum 7 percent interest rate. Abu Farah Md. Nasser, Deputy Governor, BB; Md. Obaidul Hoque, executive director, BB; Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, head of SME, IPDC Finance were also present.
