IPF 2021 introduces new online platform

Brand new virtual platform IPF Online Expo is going to be launched from 5th to 8th July this year to bring together participants from all around the world, said a press release.

The goal for the 2021 IPF Online Expo is to provide a captivating platform for companies large and small to show products, build brands and form partnerships, while prioritizing health and safety, the release read.

Trade show organizer Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd — will launch the online expo jointly with Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA) for the Bangladesh Int’l Plastics, Printing & Packaging Industry Fair (IPF).

The release read, the virtual platform will work for exhibitors to increase their brand awareness in the market and build relationships with potential buyers beyond geographical boundaries. At the same time, the show will bring a series of online keynote speeches and seminars, for sharing industry insights and up-to-date technology to online attendees.

The release also said that the virtual fair will showcase a variety of top quality plastics, printing & packaging products including from world-renowned exhibitors: WORLDLY Industrial with high-speed rotogravure printing machines, laminating machines, special coating machines, extrusion laminating machines for different materials; Shanghai JINHU with extruder, pipe extrusion line, profile extrusion line, sheet & board extrusion line and auxiliary machine; CHESO Machinery – the commercial agent of HAITIAN – with reconditioned plastic injection moulding machines, ancillary products & accessories for the plastic equipment.

The exhibition will host a strong line-up of speakers, including Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, President of FBCCI; Mr. Shamim Ahmed, President of BPGMEA; Mr. Masud Siddiqui, Former Secretary of Ministry of Industries; Mrs. Ferdous Ara, CEO of Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) and other related associations will all together discuss their vision of plastics industry status, the prospectus of exports and challenges. They will also be joined by Dr. Ijaz Hossain, Dept. of Chemical Engineering of BUET, FBCCI and Mr. Khadem Mahmud Yusuf, MD of BTCL to talk about the sustainability of plastic waste management, which is one of the hot topics right now across the industry. Dr. Sanjoy Chakraborty, Deputy Secretary to the Govt. MoHA will be the keynote speaker to discuss the forecast of the plastic sector by 2030. The last topic will be led by Mr. Manzur Ahmed, advertiser of BPGMEA to give us his opinion about Export-led Plastics Sector Development Policy.
