The LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited has declared 15 percent interim cash dividend at Tk 1.50 per equity share of Tk10 face value aggregating to Tk 174 crore for the half year ending June 2022, a press release said.
The decision was taken at the meeting of its Board of Directors of held Wednesday at its corporate head office.
Net sales of the company during the quarter increased by 6 percent to Tk 5,014 million compared to Tk 4,737 million in Q2, 2021. Operating earning before interest and taxes reached Tk 1,293 million, a growth of 9 percent over the same quarter of the last year, the company said.
Earnings PerShare (EPS) increased by 10 percent, it added.
Rajesh K Surana, CEO of the company, said: “With continuous emphasis on Agility, Cost & Innovation, we demonstrated strong performance in the second quarter of 2022, setting a solid foundation for rest of the year. I am very encouraged by our performance in the second quarter.”
