Midland Bank Limited (MDB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under “Refinance Scheme for Green Products/Projects/Initiatives” of Bangladesh Bank with Omera Renewable Energy Ltd , a press rlease said Sunday. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, MD & CEO of MDB, Mohammad Javed Tarek Khan, head of institutional banking division and Masudur Rahim, CEO of East Coast Group, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the bank’s head office on 16, November, 2022. Under the MoU, Omera Renewable Energy Ltd will enjoy the credit line from Midland Bank under the Refinance Scheme for Green Products/Projects/Initiatives of BB. Md. Zahid Hossain, DMD, Khondkar Towfique Hossain, executive vice president and head of international division, Tariquzzaman, sr. vice president & head of unit-1 of institutional banking division and Khondker Khaled Shams, assistant vice president & relationship manager of institutional banking division, Unit-1 of MDB and Md. AKH Hasif Sowdagar, chief financial officer of East Coast Group were also present.
