A memorial ceremony titled “Hridoye Boro Shaheb” was held in the hall room of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday in memory of the late Chairman of Anwar Group, Alhaj Anwar Hossain, a press release said.
Alhaj Anwar Hossain was not just a businessman; he was also dedicated to the welfare of the nation and society. In his death, Anwar Group has lost its guardian and the nation has lost a hero. His death is an irreparable loss for the country and the nation.
In the Ceremony held in remembrance, officers and employees of all levels of Anwar Group reminisced and highlighted the various contributions of late Anwar Hossain Sir of his career and personal life. Also, videos related to the life philosophy and career of Anwar Hossain Sir were displayed, where 14 thousand employees of Anwar Group participated in theceremony through Facebook Live.
At the ceremony, Sir’s family members and Group Managing Director Mr. Manwar Hossain, Managing Director Mr. Hossain Mehmood, and Honorable Managing Director Mr. Hossain Khaled were present.
