Midland Bank holds virtual discussion on Bangabandhu

Midland Bank has organized a virtual discussion session on the life and work of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh MujiburRahman following its 114th Board Meeting on August 29 marking National Mourning Day 2021.

The members of the Board of Directors along with the members of the Bank’s Shariah Supervisory Council participated in the discussion session and discussed the great life of Bangabandhu and focused on the leadership lessons from his life that can be implemented in relation to finance, banking and related economic activities.

The session was conducted virtually and was attended by Mr. Md. Shamsuzzaman, Vice Chairman, Mr. RezaulKarim, Chairman of the Board Executive Committee, Dr. KaziShahidullah, Chairman of the Board Audit Committee, Mr. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee, Mr. Master AbulKashem, Director, Mr. Kazi Omar Zafar, Director, Mr. A.K.M. BadiulAlam, Director, Mrs. ShahnajParveen, Director, Mrs. Lutfa Begum, Director, Mr. HafizurRahmanSarker, Director, Mr. Abdul MominMondol, Director, Dr. MostafizurRahman, Director, Mr. MahbubulHadyFazleRab, Independent Director and Mr. Md. Ahsan-uzZaman, Managing Director and CEO of Midland Bank, a press release said.

At the end of the meeting, Munajat seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah, for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the Bank and the country as well, which was conducted by Dr. Muhammad Nazrul Islam Al-maruf, memebr of the Shariah Supervisory Council of was held.

The members of the Senior Management Team, Head of the Divisions and the Head of Branches of the Bank also joined the virtual discussion session.
