Midland Bank Limited (MBL) has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to disburse CMSME term loans for up to 5 years at 7percent interest under the CMSME refinancing scheme of the central bank, a press release said Thursday. The signing ceremony was held on 24th August 2022 at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank. MD and CEO of MDB Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman and director of Bangladesh Bank Zaker Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their organization. Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rauf Talukdar, Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Abu Farah Md. Nasser, executive director of Bangladesh Bank Obaidul Haque, director of Bangladesh Bank Manoj Kumar Howladar and VP and Head of SME of MDB Md. Ahsan Jamil Hossain were also present .
