Midland Bank, State IT sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Midland Bank and The State IT at the corporate head office of the bank at Gulshan 2 in Dhaka on Monday.

Under the MoU, The State IT will use the robust online cash management solution of MDB ‘Midland Cash Management (MCM)’ application for conducting their daily business banking and cash management activities nationwide, according to a media release.

Mohammad Javed Tarek Khan, Head of Institutional Banking Division of Midland Bank and Shubhro Chakraborty, Chairman, The State IT Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Muhammad Majidul Haq Patwary, FRM, Vice President and Head of Unit 05, Institutional Banking Division of Midland Bank and Sourav Chakraborty, Group Director, The State IT were also present, along with other executives and officers of both organisations.

Established in 2015, The State IT is a first-class contractor engaged in the supply and installation of network base stations for the Bangladesh Army, RAB, Bangladesh Police.

They are also working as a local partner of the Chinese company Hytera Communications Corporation Limited, one of the world’s largest security equipment manufacturers, the release adds.
