Ministry of Land to make the land service process easier

The Ministry of Land has taken an initiative to make the service process easier to provide more efficient and transparent land services. This initiative will further increase the accountability of the land office in providing people-friendly land services.

A workshop titled ‘Identification of Land Services through Land Management Automation Project’ was held for this purpose on Saturday, today. 70 officials, divided into 10 teams, virtually participated in the workshop from the Land Ministry conference hall, offices of departments/agencies under the Ministry of Land and Habiganj, Sherpur, Noakhali collectorates (DC Office).

To ease the process of land service, an effective information system will be developed for the land service automation system. The workshop started with an open discussion and Q&A session with the officials of the 10 participating teams. The land secretary, land management (domain) expert, and procurement specialist expressed their views thereafter. Officers participating in the workshop then begin team-based activities and present their works. The recommendations of the participating teams were then discussed. Based on these recommendations, a cluster and class-based land service list will be prepared later.
