National Bank Limited has received a certificate of ‘Sustainability Rating Recognition 2020’ at the head office of Bangladesh Bank on June 30, 2022, a press release said Thursday. Fazle Kabir, Governor, Bangladesh Bank handed over the certificate to Mehmood Husain, MD and CEO of the bank. The award is for the recognition to National Bank Limited in the sector of 1) Sustainable Finance, 2) Green Finance, 3) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and 4) Core Banking Sustainability. A K M Sajedur Rahman Khan and Abu Farah Md Nasser, Deputy Governors, Ms Nurun Nahar, executive director and Khondokar Morshed Millat, director, Bangladesh Bank were also present.
