National Bank Limited (NBL) has observed the second death anniversary of the late chairman of the bank, and Sikdar Group, industrialist, valiant freedom fighter Zainul Haque Sikder, a press release said Friday.
Prayers and milad mahfils were held in NBL all branches of the bank including the main branches across the country on February 9, 2023.
A prayer ceremony was held at the head office of the bank in the city.
MD and CEO, Md. Mehmood Husain, spoke at the event.
Zainul Haque Sikder passed away on February 10, 2021. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other prominent figures in the country expressed their deep sorrow and offered condolences to his family members.
