At this time, in Nupur market, it is seen that sandals are manufactured and sold under different names by copying the Apex brand logo. A company was fined 40 thousand rupees for selling these fake products.
According to the Consumer Rights Protection Department, the company is illegally producing and selling shoes named Edex, Epox, Epox etc. by copying famous brand shoes of the country. Mohammad Anichur Rahman and Mr. Rana Debnath, Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department said that this special operation was conducted because these unauthorized products were marketed by copying the logos of famous brands.
At this time, besides warning the traders, these consumer rights officials have warned that a more vigorous campaign will be conducted against such fake products.
