Nokia has introduced three ways to tackle cyber threats in the 5G era, a press release said Saturday.
The company has announced the expansion of its private wireless capabilities, as well as the Nokia industrial user equipment portfolio. The addition of new wearable devices and digital twinning, Nokia aims to provide manufacturers, mining, public safety agencies and other organizations greater ease in securely connecting people and machines, unlocking the value of their data and supporting even more demanding use cases.
As connections become more sophisticated in tandem with 5G applications, communication service providers must prepare for the resultant security risks.
Nokia recommended making full use of Threat Intelligence, establishing a more robust and resilient 5G network, and ensuring the security of each device.
They tested the marketability of private wireless to augment Industry 4.0. Private wireless has proven to be the critical enabler to accelerating Industry 4.0 over the last few years.
