NRBC Bank signed a deal with Bangladesh Bank on Automated Challan System (ACS).
According to the deal, NRBC Bank can receive 645 types of government vat, tax, revenue, passport fees and other fees from branchs, sub-branchs and collection booths, a press release said.
The agreement was signed by Md. Forkan Hossain, General Manager, Bangladesh Bank and Golam Awlia, Managing Directors & CEO, NRBC Bank in the presence of Ahmed Jamal, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank. AKM Mohiuddin Azad, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Harunur Rashid Deputy Managing Director & CFO, NRBC Bank, Kazi Md. SafayetKabir, SEVP of NRBC Bank, Md. Jafar Iqbal Howlader, Head of FAD, S K Perves Markar, Head of ACS operation and other senior officials of both the organizations.
Ahmed Jamal, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh bank said, ‘‘NRBC is the second bank who signed this agreement on ACS. As a result, tax payers and citizens can pay their tax, vat and others govt fees by using nationwide large network of NRBC Bank.’’
Golam Awlia, MD & CEO, NRBC Bank said, ‘‘The bank’s services are reaching the doorsteps of the people. For this, branches, sub-branches, booths, and other service centers are being established all over the country.’’
