Data Intelligence and Cyber Security Analytics company Pipeline Security has appointed A. S. M. Shamim Reza as the company’s first Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in October 2021, transitioning his role as the company’s external advisor on AI and Cybersecurity.
Launched in 2015, Pipeline Security, headquartered in Japan, has been working into establishing its footsteps in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The company incorporated in Bangladesh after Singapore, and appointed their CTO to secure the country’s cyberspace.
Shamim worked at Link3 Technologies Ltd. for more than 12 years, implementing services and driving Infrastructure Security Operations. He founded TheTeamPhoenix in Bangladesh, a group focused on conducting threat-hunting research programs using machine learning frameworks.
He is also a subject-matter expert (SME) for APNIC, the Regional Internet Registry, and a Program Committee Member for Artificial Intelligence and Data Foundation at the admired technical conference, Open-Source Summit – North America. Besides, he has been conducting multiple hands-on training programs on Cyber Security Analysis in Bangladesh. Shamimhas also contributed to regional conferences such as SANOG, RootConf, bdNOG, SANOG, APRICOT, APNIC and Open-Source Summit.
