SAJIDA Foundation signs MOU to assist hospitals in border districts

SAJIDA Foundation signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) one at the office of Dr. A. S. M. Maru fHasan, Civil Surgeon cum Superintendent, Sadar Hospital, Chuadanga (DGHS) and another at the office of Dr. Saleh Muhammad Ali, Assistant Director (Acting), 250-bed General Hospital, Pabna (DGHS) under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHWF).

According to the agreements, SAJIDA will be responsible to deploy required equipment, logistic support, experienced pool healthcare professionals and administrative staff at the Sadar Hospital, Chuadanga (DGHS) and at the 250-bed General Hospital, Pabna to assist in the care of COVID-19 patients for an initial period of 2 months.

Dr. Md. Tariqul Islam, Director- Health, SAJIDA Foundation said, “SAJIDA’s medical team has amassed invaluable knowledge and experience whilst treating COVID positive patients since the beginning of the pandemic at SAJIDA Hospitals in Narayanganj and Keraniganj. We will leverage our experience to tackle the adversities in Pabna and Chuadanga.”
